Beavers are the youngest section in Scouting, for youth aged 6 - 8 years old. They wear a turquoise jumper, earn lots of badges, learn new things and have lots of fun and new experiences.  Beavers at St Germain’s also go out on trips, do sleepovers (and sometimes go camping).

The Beaver section was created in 1986. This year sees in 30 years of Beaver Scouting! Look out of parties, camps and themed activities.

Beaver colony meetings at 74th meet weekly (excluding school term holidays) and usually last 1 hour and 15 minuets.

Beavers are expected to wear a uniform (Scouts is a uniformed organisation) please see below for details.

All Beavers are expected to wear a turquoise jumper and their Blue neckerchief (scarf). Any badges that are earn't must be sewed on in the correct position.
